Miles Woodbury

President

Miles is a third-year student concentrating in Finance and minoring in Economics. This upcoming summer, he will be joining J.P. Morgan as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst.

Outside of MII, Miles is involved in VUREC and is the Treasurer of Phi Kappa Psi. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, watching March Madness, and trying new food.

Viswa Subramanian

Chief Investment Officer

Viswa is a third-year student majoring in Computer Science and Economics. This upcoming summer, he will be joining Guggenheim’s Restructuring Group as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst.

Outside of MII, Viswa is involved with AKPsi and the Credit and Restructuring Club. In his free time, he enjoys reading, training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and playing poker.

Max Benningfield

Chief Operating Officer

Max is a third-year student majoring in Systems Engineering with minors in Applied Math and Economics. This upcoming summer, he will be joining Barclays as a Sales & Trading Summer Analyst.

Outside of MII, Max is involved with UVA Student Council and Beta Theta Pi. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, following Washington, D.C. Sports, and golfing.

Sophia White

Director of Internal affairs

Sophia is a third-year student majoring in Commerce with concentrations in Finance and Management. This upcoming summer, she will be joining Jefferies as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst.

Outside of MII, Sophia is involved in Commerce Council, McIntire Ambassadors, Creating Assets, Savings, and Hope (CASH), SEED Consulting Club, Delta Sigma Pi, Hoos in the Office, and Kappa Kappa Gamma. She enjoys fishing, running, hiking with her dog, and NYT games.

Aliana Schwartz

Aliana is a third-year student majoring in Commerce with concentrations in Finance and Management. This upcoming summer, she will be joining Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst.

Outside of MII, Aliana is involved in SEED Consulting Club, Third Year Council, and serves as the VP of Finance for Alpha Delta Pi. She enjoys running, going to spin classes, doing puzzles with friends, reading, and needlepointing.

Jason Lu

Director of Education

Jason is a second-year student majoring in Commerce and Computer Science. This upcoming summer, he will be joining The Riverside Company. In Summer 2027, he will be joining Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in their TMT group.

Outside of MII, Jason is a chess National Master and national champion. He enjoys watching soccer, weightlifting, and reading.

Ivan So

Ivan is a second-year student majoring in Commerce and Applied Statistics. This upcoming summer, he will be joining Alantra as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. In Summer 2027, he will be joining Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst.

Outside of MII, Ivan enjoys watching college basketball, cooking new recipes, and playing different sports.

Outside of MII, Aditya enjoys watching action movies, coaching youth basketball, and visiting new cities.

Callan Smith

Callan is a second-year double majoring in Commerce and English. This upcoming summer, he will be joining Diameter Capital Partners. In Summer 2027, he will be joining Houlihan Lokey as a Financial Restructuring Investment Banking Summer Analyst.

Outside of MII, Callan enjoys cooking, coaching track and field, reading, and watching college basketball.
